Greetings from Melina & the Hannay Family
Melina is still ashore at Universal on the Hamble. We are doing a major repaint both inside and out. The rudder and steering system are being completely overhauled as a result of the problems in Brittany in '04. The electrics are also being updated. As are the rigging and sails.
We hope to have her in the water by June and will then sail slowly to Scotland. Keeping her on the West Coast for the rest of the summer. Laying up at Dumbarton on the Clyde in September.

Family News
Magda is continuing her interpreting, througout Europe for several multi-nationals and translating the DK Guide books.
Timo and his three girls (Kyoko, Mia & Ana) have moved into their new house in Hampstead but the fitting out has not been finished yet. February should see everything in full working order. Timo is now a director at Nature.
Lara (Breay) and her two boys (Kevin & Charlie) live in Hollywood. Lara is Executive Produce for a new comedy that has just started production, "Blades of Glory"
Ian is slowly getting on with the work on Melina and trying to cope with the garden.
