Ian sailed on Charm III for the three days of the Antiguas Classics Regatta. This was the first sail on Charm since 1963 and brought back many old memories. Charm has been beautifully restored by Richard & Maries West on the beach in Anguilla. It only took them sixteen years!
Charm wins the concorde de elegance every other year as she is not allowed to win every year!

After we went afloat again after painting the bottom we sailed to Guadeloupe. Going slowly down the West coast and hired a car in Basse Terre to go to the water falls only to discover that the track was closed due to a rock fall. So instead we climbed to the top of the Soufries, 1487m, in cloud and rain, but it did us all good and we have the photos to prove it!
All is Ian, Maja & Marcin. Magda returns on the 29th and Chris arrives on the 30th as the fourth member of the Atlantic crew.
We plan to sail back to Antigua tomorrow and watch the mega yachts race, min 100ft, over the weekend.
